Flex-Tastic Day 3

Again, my right ankle is suffering through serious swelling.  Wednesday’s Hip Opener class with King Pigeon Pose may not have helped, though it was swollen prior to class.  I put my toe stretchers on, this time for only five minutes as advised.  The pinky toes are still a bit bothersome – I think this is a design flaw.  There is not much bend to these and you really have to stretch them to get them over the toes.  The other benefit is supposedly that these can straighten out crooked toes and hammer toes.  Several years ago kicking up into Scorpion near a wall I broke my pinky toe’s neighbor (a good indicator that you should not try this at home), since then the toe has been slightly turned inward. I haven’t noticed any change, but it is only day 3.
