What Midwives/Doulas/CBEs have been saying all along
I know that I have been telling potential clients this, and usually ones who want to hire me as a doula even though they are having a planned C section, because their friends had a doula or they saw it on some birth d show. Now that the LA Times has published something about elective Cs, maybe they or someone else will also publish an article on how women are convinced to have non medically necessary Cs as well – being given misinformation, half the story or being made to feel they just are unable to give birth w/o intervention.
