Wii Fit Morning
After a late night foray into trying the Wii Fit, my whole family created Miis and gave it a try, we awoke to more Wii Fit Playing. This time, well rested and not having taught 3 yoga classes, my Wii age was 31. This morning I tried the Yoga section – I received Yoga Master on everything except Tree Pose – my foot kept slipping from the lotion I had on, down my pant leg. Then I tried the aerobics portion – Hula Hooping – that was actually quite fun, and I gave the Balance Games another shot – the soccer heading is impossible for me I only ever hit 20 balls but a lot of pandas smack me. I’m the leader in the Ski Jump and 2nd in slalom. Depending on where you move the Wii Balance Board, your weight fluctuates a pound.
Again, this was fun, but not what I would consider a real cardio workout – I’ll try wearing my HR monitor next time to see if it actually elevates HR. Definitely the Race section does, I watched my son run every race he unlocked – and he was tired by the end.
