Wings of Nature: Great Summertime Snack

Perfect for kids, parents, and those who are living a healthy and fit lifestyle, Wings of Nature have only 8 ingredients! These bars are great for grabbing on the go, taking to the beach, the pool and to games. They are all natural and made of natural sweeteners that contain complex carbohydrates and nutrients which are absorbed more slowly, and do not elevate blood sugar levels as much as other sweeteners.
We all want to limit the amount of sugar we take in without sacrificing taste. It’s hard to find a treat that is healthy, portable and safe in the summer sun.
I was sent samples of their line including my new favorite Cranberry Crunch Bar. This bar was chewy, and delicious tasting like a peanut and butter jelly sandwich. Although this bar has peanuts, sesame seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds it was not gritty or seedy like other bars. It had a wonderful texture. I shared each one with my 17 month old son who absolutely delighted in these bar. To my shock he wouldn’t share the coffee flavored bar with me.
The Almond Raisin Bar was a little more on the seedy side, it definitely had a sesame seed flavor and was not heavy on the raisins. It also had a good texture, soft and chewy but not too sticky.
The Espresso Coffee Bar was extremely flavorful, and the coffee taste hung in my mouth after only a dime sized bite – coffee is not my favorite flavor I have to admit.
Each bar has only 170 calories and about 18 g of carbs. The best feature is their low sodium content of only 15 mg for the raisin, 20 mg for the cranberry and 25 mg for the coffee. Read more about the company and where you can purchase:
