SOULFOOD: Releases Hit Guitar Meditations Vol3

image

I received a review copy of Guitar Meditations Vol 3 and hadn’t planned on using it during my yoga classes because I have found other CDs that are purported to be perfect for yoga a little on the distracting side. Not the case with Guitar Meditations.  The mellow sounds of the guitar laid over hypnotic new age sounding tracks is a wonderful complement to any yoga class.

It is difficult to find a starting place to discuss how pleasant an experience this CD was.  It was refreshingly new yet familiar.  There was a quality to the music on Guitar Meditations that transcended all music offered to yoga classes, but set it apart from the typical rolling waves, panpipes, or flutes.

My students, who are ever happy to be part of my review process, thoroughly enjoyed the CD.  The absence of vocals made this the perfect fit for class.  It was up tempo enough to keep a steady flow, but without an obtrusive or over powering bear.  I would highly recommend Guitar Meditations Vol 3 to any yoga instructors looking to expand their music collection.
